|The Occupied Village||
Bandits have occupied the village and will hinder us greatly in our search.
I guess we must drive them away first, otherwise we’ll need much more time to find the sons.
Well done – the city is now free from the bandit’s grip and we can move without fear of attack.
Defeat the Bandits in the village!
|The First Son||
My first son always wanted to become a joiner. I bet we’ll find him chopping wood near the forest in the west.
Aha! Look who’s chopping wood over there!
Defeat the wildlife leader camp in the west!
|The Second Son||
I have spoken with the miller in the village and he has told me that my second son is his apprentice. He has send him to find his donkey that drops gold from its mouth when you say ‘Bricklebrit!’ According to the miller he headed to the mountains, but has not returned yet.
Let’s go find him!
After defeating the creatures in the old iron mine, you discover the second son hiding from the beasts behind some rocks.
Defeat the wildlife creatures in the abandoned mine in the north!
|The Third Son||
The third son is always ready for a good fight to protect others and fight evil. Maybe he is just about to beat up some bandits in the east?
It would appear the third son overestimated his abilities. You’ve found him enchained in the bandit leader’s hut you just secured.
Defeat the bandit leader camp in the east!
|The Wishing Table||
There it is, the red tree! Some say its wood has magical properties. We will soon find out, because my master has asked me to acquire it so I can create my masterwork a magical table which can create food whenever we wish!
However, it seems the beasts of this forest don’t want us to get to the tree. Once again we need to fight our way through!
Wow, what a breathtaking tree. I almost feel bad hurting it. I guess I don’t need to chop it entirely. I’ll just pick up some fallen branches…
Defeat the next wildlife leader camp in the north-west!
His eyes wide open, the son starts to speak
“Father! How glad I am to see you.
The miller has given me the task of finding his gold-producing donkey. I followed its tracks to this old abandoned mine and discovered it had been stolen by a giant! I saw him walking to another old mine and just as I started following him, the inhabitants of the mine returned and I was forced to hide.
Who knows what woudl have happened to me if you hadn’t come and saveed me, father…
May I ask you to help me to get the gold-producing donkey back from the giant so I can finish my apprenticeship?”
Fabulous! I never really believed your stories about beating up giants, but now I’ve seen it with my own eyes!
Defeat the giant in the next abandoned cave in the north!
|The Cudgel in the Sack||
With the bandits regrouping the little tailor’s son found some time to speak
“Though I have not forgotten how you sent me away, I appreciate your help here, father.
However, the toughest part is just about to start. If you assist me in defeating their leader you will not only be helping the innocent townsfolk, you’ll also help me finish my apprenticeship. That’s because their leader wields a magical cudgel-in-a-bag he stole from my master. And of course, my master wants it back!
What, you don’t know what a cudgel-in-a-bag is?
It’s quite simple
Really convenient if you ask me.”
Really good work! The town is safe and we’ve retrieved the cudgel for my master. I’m sure he will be very glad about this.
Defeat the next bandit leader camp in the north-east!
|The Red Tree||
The little tailor greets his son and immediately asks for forgiveness, but the son is still angry that the little tailor preferred to believe a goat more than him.
Maybe he will change his mind when we help him to chop down the red tree in the north-west, but to get there we first need to fight our way through the forest and its dangerous beasts.
Good job – we have almost reached the tree!
Defeat the remaining wildlife camps in the north-west!
|The Bandit Encampment||
You have freed the third son from his chains, but there is no time to talk. The Bandits from the other side of the river have seen your attack and are preparing to retaliate.
To protect the town, you must fight your way to their leader and defeat him.
Great – you’ve driven the bandits back to their lair to protect their leader.
Defeat the remaining bandit camps in the north-east!
